Gastroprotective therapy in patients with atrial fibrillation receiving anticoagulant therapy: A review

چکیده
Prevention of thromboembolic complications is the main goal in patients with atrial fibrillation. Anticoagulant therapy used as prophylaxis, and direct oral anticoagulants are preferred. However, this associated a risk bleeding, among which gastrointestinal bleeding takes leading place. Proton pump inhibitors now widely prophylaxis for upper bleedings, but when long-term, may be number adverse drug reactions, including an increased cardiovascular events. Long-term use these drugs suppress action antiplatelet drugs, disrupt function vascular endothelium, at same time cause hypomagnesemia, iron deficiency, vitamin D K deficiency. At time, monotherapy proton does not protect against from lower tract. Thus, effective gastro- enteroprotection, it necessary to prescribe that tract throughout its entire length. Such rebamipide, has complex protective effect on tract, protecting mucous membrane all levels (pre-, post-epithelial directly epithelial level), ensures restoration tight contacts epithelium intestinal tube It should noted current consensus documents experts problem decreasing bleedings during anticoagulant treatment recommend rebamipide duration therapy.

Intracranial hemorrhage in patients with atrial fibrillation receiving anticoagulation therapy.
We investigated the frequency and characteristics of intracranial hemorrhage (ICH), the factors associated with the risk of ICH, and outcomes post-ICH overall and by randomized treatment. We identified patients with ICH from the overall trial population enrolled in the Apixaban for Reduction in Stroke and Other Thromboembolic Events in Atrial Fibrillation trial who received ≥1 dose of the study...
متن کاملCombination anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapy in atrial fibrillation patients.
The question of whether or not combination antithrombotic therapy is beneficial in terms of a reduction in fatal and non-fatal vascular events in atrial fibrillation (AF) is an important question which essentially remains unanswered. Original randomised controlled trials in AF patients examining the efficacy of combination oral anticoagulant (OAC) and antiplatelet therapy for stroke prevention ...

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is associated with inflammatory and hypercoagulability state. Previous studies evaluated the safety and efficacy of dabigatran and warfarin in prevention of thrombothic complications. This study was intended to assess the influence of these drugs on hemostatic and inflammatory markers among patient underwent pulmonary vein ablation. A total of 100 patients with AF w...

Objective: To investigate the efficacy and safety of genotype-based anticoagulant therapy with warfarin in patients with atrial fibrillation. Methods: A total of 66 patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation treated admitted to our hospital from December 2014 to May 2015 were enrolled in this study. The patients were randomly allocated to the control group (n=33) and the intervention group ...
